Today we celebrate *Book Day*, a date that celebrates St. Jordi's Day and commemorates two writers who died on this day in 1616, Miguel de Cervantes and William Shakespeare. These days, literature takes over leisure time with book presentations and signings, author talks, gastronomic experiences and literary cafés with a lot of history.

Literary cafés

Fernando Pessoa was a regular at the Café a Basileira in the Chiado area of Lisbon, a historic place where intellectuals, artists and writers such as the poet Fernando Pessoa, who still sits at a table in a corner, used to meet. The mythical café that brought together famous writers was Floridita in Havana, where Ernest Hemingway could be found regularly, as well as Tenesse Williams and Jean Paul Sartre, among others. In the Antico Caffè Grecco in Rome, some of the world's most famous writers have passed through, such as Stendhal, Lord Byron, Goethe or Charles Dickens. Which is the literary café in your city?
