COFFEA ARABICA

¿What you know about coffee?

Coffee comes from the plant commonly known as the coffee plant. Coffea Arabica is the scientific name of the coffee plant. And it is born from the earth and the hands that work it. Legend has it that many years ago a shepherd discovered his goats jumping and "dancing" in the fields after having eaten some red berries. It occurred to him to make an infusion with these berries and he also began to feel the stimulating effect. But as he did not like the taste, he threw the berries into the fire and thus discovered the marvellous aroma of roasted coffee.

The coffee plant produces a red or yellow fruit, depending on the variety. And that fruit has one, two or three seeds inside known as the "green coffee bean" which contains many of the flavours of the fruit, the sugars, oils and proteins that we can later taste in the prepared beverage. Coffee is a journey through different countries and cultures with techniques and flavours that invade your taste and your memory. The taste of your coffee is influenced by the cultivation, the altitude, the process, the variety of the fruit, the roasting, the water and the preparation.
