With the help of the Marabans Team, and especially the Marabans Experience Manager, we encourage and promote the expansion of knowledge of the “Coffee Culture” by training and preparing the staff of our partners.

Because we know that for any of us having a good coffee or a good tea is an experience, and like all experiences, we have to prepare it, organise it and find the right moment to make it perfect.

The mission of our Experience Manager is to teach you how to prepare the best cup of tea or coffee, so that it is at the right temperature, extracts all its aroma or is accompanied by its characteristic cream.

The figure of the Experience Manager of Marabans, Joan Simó, He has a wealth of knowledge and a long career behind him. He has a passion for coffee, which he transmits in the training courses offered by our academy and Marabans Experiences.

Joan Simó, an expert in his category, with a Barista qualification at professional level from the SCA (Specialty Coffee AssociationSensory and brewing, He has more than 20 years of experience in the sector, is an expert in this discipline and a connoisseur of this world in constant development. Trainer of Marabans Academy, in IES Fray Juniper and l'Escola d'hoteleria de les Illes Balears.

Where do we provide training?

In our workshop

Located in our installations in the industrial estate of Can Picafort (Santa Margalida, Mallorca) where we have the necessary machinery and equipment, products, filter coffee machines, capsule coffee machines, cups, etc.

In our Marabans Lab

That is to say, in our laboratory, also located in our facilities in Can Picafort, where we have a coffee roaster and, as good tasters, we can experiment with the wheel of flavours and aromas of coffee.

At the customer's premises

It is the way to adapt to the environment and the physical surroundings in which the customer usually works and to involve in the training all the staff who have contact with coffee and tea.

At the Escola d'Hoteleria de les Illes Balears (School of Hotel Management of the Balearic Islands)

Marabans Coffee & Tea has been part of the training team at the Escola d'Hoteleria de les Illes Balears (EHIB) since 2003. From there, we have the privilege of training hotel management students and catering technicians. We teach courses with the hope of positioning the world of coffee and giving it the space it deserves. Spreading coffee culture through knowledge and teaching.

With the Marabans' Experiences trainings we want to ensure that the properties of our blends and teas always maintain our seal of quality.
