EXPERIMENTACIÓN CON CAFÉ COMO MODELO DE APRENDIZAJE
Last Tuesday, our colleague Marta, for a few hours he left his position as "Chief Financial Officer" and became "Junior Experience Manager". During his visit to the CEIP Sa Torre school in Manacor, he gave a very special class to the 5 year olds.
Once again this year, we encourage experimentation in the classroom by giving this workshop. Children, in their daily lives, experiment continuously, the purpose of these acts is to be able to understand reality, that is, they are curious and want to know the why of all things.
Understanding that children need and want to know the world, we encourage experimentation in the classroom by giving these workshops, stimulating children's curiosity in order to awaken their interest in discovering and learning new things in a fun way.
The best way for children to discover the properties and qualities of things is through manipulation and experimentation, which is why Marta came full of coffee. The 5 year old children from CEIP Sa Torre were able to see what green coffee was like, what it looked like once it was roasted, they could touch it, smell it and play with it and thus discover the different properties of these fruits in a fun and entertaining way.
Experimenting to learn
To teach them about the origins of coffee, Marta told them a story about "The shepherd Kaldi and his little goats" and they ended the day in a very artistic way: they painted with coffee!
Thanks to a totally natural formula created especially for this type of activity, they were able to enjoy and express through painting everything they had learnt during the "coffee" session in works of art made with coffee.
We show you some of the great creations of these "little artists".
Do you know what other things can be done with coffee? cooking, cofftails, sponge cake, and so on. We invite you to discover them on the Marabans blog.
