Marabans Coffee & Tea donates more than three thousand kilos of sugar to Mallorca Sense Fam

Marabans Coffee & Tea is celebrating its 20th anniversary and has been collaborating with Mallorca Sense Fam for 4 consecutive years and has been awarded the "solidarity company" label by the NGO. This year it has donated three thousand six hundred kilos of sugar in kilo packaging at the request of the association. On other occasions the contribution has been coffee, but this year the association's main need was for sugar.

The delivery ceremony took place this morning at the new-look Marabans facilities at its headquarters in the Can Picafort industrial estate. The event was attended by the vice-president of Mallorca Sense Fam, Joan Martorell, who was welcomed by Marta Maynegra, Marabans Coffee & Tea's Human Resources department.

Mallorca Sense Fam expects to close the year with the delivery of more than 300 tons of solidarity food, even surpassing last year's figure. The vice-president thanked Marabans "sincerely for their donation", pointing out that "society is becoming more and more aware of the need to help and that thanks to collaborations like this, they can continue to develop their project for the most needy families on the island".
