This weekend we had a very special event with the Santa Margalida Cycling Club; the two-wheeled ambassadors of Marabans Coffee & Tea.

The aim of the MTB endurance race was for the 3 riders to be as close together as possible at each checkpoint.

The winning team and rider of the race was the one who did the most laps of the circuit (each in their own category) during the 3 hours.

There were trophies for the first 3 finishers in each category, male, female and mixed, and the same for the individual male and female participants.

This type of competition involves motivation, will, sacrifice, planning and strategy,

planning and strategy.

The winners in individuals; Joan Barceló of the Club Ciclista Santa Margalida and Maribel Tous.

In teams; Miguel Serra, Luis Galiano and Abdón Vich.

In mixed teams; J. Montero, Victoria Benavides and Hervás Lorrimer.

Other special prizes were also awarded to the components of the oldest team and another to the youngest team as well as to the first local team.

In addition, all runners participated in several raffles in which they could win different gifts such as; 4 Cremossas + and Marabans coffee capsules, a "black" suckling pig courtesy of Rancho Grande Park, bicycle accessories from "mou-te en bici", dinners and lunches at; Junior's Café, El Puerto Can Picafort, Son Bascos, Restaurant Ses Torres, and many other things more.

Thanks to all participants, assistants, collaborators, etc. without them it would not have been possible to carry out this competition!
