The next 4th and 5th of June we will be at the BALEARIC RACING CHAMPIONSHIP 2021.

Toni Tauler; technical and sports director of the Federació de Ciclisme de les Illes Balears (FCIB), Club Ciclista Santa Margalida and the other sponsors of the Championship will be there to encourage all the cyclists, and this year it is special... In the Balearic Islands it is very difficult to get a peloton of women cyclists together for a race with a women's start. For this reason the girls start with the men in the same peloton.

Every year the Balearic Championship is held without an exclusive women's start, which forces the girls to run in a mixed peloton with the same conditions of race cut-off as the men. Last year those who competed couldn't even make it to the finish line because no matter how strong they were, they couldn't make it in time. The only way to compete in the Balearic Championship is for there to be a women's peloton, and a minimum of 50 riders is required, and this year this has been achieved, and the first Women's Long Distance Championship will be held; Campionat Balears Fondo en Carretera Fèmines.

The Championship will take place on 05/06/21 from 15:00 h. at our headquarters in Marabans Coffee & Tea - Polígono de CAN PICAFORT (carrer dels Sestadors) Don't Ride Alone!

Balearic Championship Against the Clock will be on 04/06/21 at 17:00 h. Departure from C/ Pere Estelrich Fuster - SANTA MARGALIDA
