Description

It comes from North Sumatra and is part of the Orang Utan Coffee Project, which combines orangutan and rainforest conservation with fair and sustainable coffee production, from plantation to roaster.

Behind it are more than 350 smallholder farmers. It is a carefully produced coffee: Tim-Tim and Ateng varieties, semi-washed process, and an 85-point cupping score.

In the cup, it is intense and enveloping, with chocolate, spices, and dried fruit, and a long, pleasant finish. Available in whole beans per kilo, designed for espresso.
