"We have a coffee", this phrase is an everyday phrase in people's lives and emotionally evokes a desire to share. At Marabans we want to give value to the ritual of having a coffee, from the first one in the morning to the one that is repeated several times, and with other people every day. We intend to rescue the traditional value of one of the oldest and most popular drinks in the history of mankind, of its wonderful taste-olfactory complexity, of its culture, and of that special social atmosphere, built around savouring it, often in cafés or bars, but also at home. Coffee is much more than a drink, it is part of our cultural richness. Since its origins, coffee has been associated with pleasure, with the fight against fatigue, with artistic and intellectual activity, with conversation at the family table, at the bar, in the office, in other words, with sociability, but also with the solitude of human beings, with their spirituality. To know and to feel are two verbs that we at Marabans want to combine with our customers and consumers.

We share the words of Sergio Storti, an experienced Quality Control technician who has been working in the company for 15 years and has started out on his own. He is passionate about coffee because he likes it, it relaxes him, he lives it and loves it intensely from its origin to its tasting as a pleasurable experience in his daily life. We love his poem, we share his universe and we wish him a happy new adventure:

How do I explain it to you?

I sit down,

I pick up the newspaper,

I order an espresso.

I look at the street,

The girl with glasses and an umbrella,

It's raining.

The waiter comments on football,

the cup gives off an exquisite aroma.

I greet a friend,

We discuss life.

I go to the nationals,

I close the newspaper.

I'm transported to Africa, Brazil,

Colombia.

I close my eyes... I'm there.
